Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwick, born 19th August, 1965 is an American actress. Her most well-known work is her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick received an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The show ended on the 13th, 2012 following the conclusion of its seventh season. Sedgwick is also well-known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's solos (1992) as well as Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald) who was an educator and family therapist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI, the venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish, was of English and Episcopalian descent. Sedgwick has announced that she's Jewish and is a part of Passover meal times.
